Torun

We spent a weekend in Torun, a small Polish town about a 4 hour drive northwest of Warsaw.

I loved this building's architecture and style
Torun is the birthplace of the renowned Nicolas Copernicus, you know, the guy that figured out the earth revolves around the sun, and not vice-versa.
The girls feeding the pigeons

The girls were apparently a little hungry too. (For the record, Ben took this picture unbeknownst to me... I had no idea they were chowing down on bird feed!)
Torun is known for pierniki (gingerbread)... here the girls enter a gingerbread store
They had really good fresh gingerbread cookies... and I don't even like gingerbread!

We attended a gingerbread making demonstration. Em had a blast

A little Betty Crocker in the making
This guy was our demonstrator.
